Our Story

OYA Solar is a global developer, integrator and financer of Solar PV Projects. Founded in 2009, the firm’s principals have successfully developed and constructed over 40 MW of Solar PV projects. OYA’s core business consists of developing and financing distributed generation and utility scale solar PV projects ranging in size from 1 to 10 megawatts for commercial and government entities. OYA typically originates, develops, and finances these assets under long-term power purchase agreements. We work with electrical authorities, electrical utilities, developers, investment funds, brokers, EPCs, and NGOs in order to source and acquire projects at the early stages of development. OYA funds it’s own development capital and works with other investment funds to develop projects in various geographical locations such as the United States, Asia, and the Middle East.
