PROJECT HOLLAND — THE REVEAL

The 425 sq. ft. rear addition reshapes the main floor with a 16-ft cathedral ceiling and an open connection to the kitchen.

Wide-plank flooring runs throughout the space, leading to a textured fireplace with a linear insert and floating hearth. Full-height black-framed glass spans the rear wall, bringing in natural light and opening the room to the backyard.

The kitchen pairs white cabinetry and quartz surfaces with a dark island, custom wood range hood and detailed wall panelling.

Renovating within a log cottage comes with a different approach. Every new finish needs to complement the existing structure rather than compete with it.

This kitchen of this full cottage renovation was rebuilt with custom cabinetry, quartz countertops, updated lighting and a new island, introducing a cleaner, more contemporary aesthetic while remaining true to the home’s original character.

The result is a space that feels naturally suited to the cottage, combining modern function with the warmth that defines this setting.

PROJECT BOXWOOD — FRONT ELEVATION

The front face was rebuilt and redefined with a clean, modern profile. A new metal roofing system sits above updated siding, creating a sharper exterior presence.

The garage door was replaced with a full-width unit featuring privacy glass, bringing in light while maintaining a solid, controlled look. Lighting was integrated across the exterior to complete the elevation and carry a consistent finish from edge to edge.

PROJECT ROSEVIEW — THE UPPER LEVEL

The upper level was fully stripped back and rebuilt to introduce new finishes and custom elements. 🏡

A new ¾” plywood subfloor was installed before engineered oak hardwood was laid across the level. The bathroom was fully gutted, and a new laundry room with tiled flooring and custom cabinetry was added.

Additional built-ins were incorporated into the bedrooms, along with new doors, trim, lighting and electrical. The staircase was refinished to match the new hardwood, and one bedroom was finished with a custom paneled accent wall.
