We are currently looking for labourers/apprentices in Mississauga
Green Home Insulation is a well-established name in Toronto’s construction community. We are known for our top-quality installers who take pride in the work that they do. We are looking to expand our team and are looking for dedicated employees that want to join our vision of building the best spray foam company in Toronto.
The ideal candidate for this job will have:
• Construction experience preferred
• Previous general labour experience (manufacturing, warehouse)
• Ability to work OT and weekends when needed
• Willingness to learn a trade
• Strong work ethic
• Mechanical aptitude an asset
• Live within a 30 minute commute of our garage (located at Dixie and Eglington)
Requirements:
• Ability to work in different environmental conditions (indoors/ outdoors, hot/ cold)
• Must be comfortable working at heights and tight spaces
• Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Proven time management, problem-solving and organizational skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work OT and weekends when needed
• Basic reading, writing, math, and computer skills
• Mechanical ability/aptitude an asset
Physical Activity Description:
Activities may include:
• Climbing up and down stairs in houses and on trucks
• Bending and standing with weight
• Pulling, pushing and torso twisting movements to transfer materials from truck
• Lifting and carrying of insulation with weight up to 50 pounds
Standard Job Duties:
• Working with a licensed installer to complete daily projects
• Duties also include accurate and on-time completion of paperwork, loading/unloading materials and equipment, job site clean-up, and various maintenance tasks as needed
• Ensure health & safety policies and procedures are adhered to
• Maintain communication with the company representative on issues including job procedures, Job incidents, etc.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized site
• Ability to work Mon-Fri (occasional weekends),flexible start time as early as 6am with flexible end times
