Hi 👋🏼 we’re back! We’ve been all things transformation this summer and we’re excited to share what we’ve been up to…

Starting with an exterior “Before & After” of Project “Ravine Topper.” Our team executed an incredibly complex design to keep the heritage integrity of this home as we entirely removed the roof structure and built on the original main floor footprint to add a complete second storey.

As the main floor had been recently renovated, it was imperative that we installed protection and weatherproofing throughout construction. We also proudly managed to keep the original gable ends and roof peaks despite replacing the outter layer of brick.

The result is a home now boasting 1,317-square-feet on the second level from 834 previously- we changed the home from a three bedroom one bath to a four bedroom and three bath which allowed for a luxury primary suite with 11-foot ceilings, a walk-in closet and conveniently moving the laundry area from the basement to the (new) top floor.

Talk about a win-win situation 🥇

As much as we love a custom home, sometimes it makes sense to work with what you already have. At , we were able to restore and reuse three of the existing walls, thus paying homage to the original architecture while updating and increasing the size of the home.

These architectural drawings show that sometimes there is beauty in marrying the old with the new.
