A metering project passes through a lot of hands before a single meter reads correctly. Drawings, contractors, communications hardware and other trades all have to line up, and the documentation has to hold up long after the crew has left.

VIP Meter Services manages metering installation projects end to end, from design coordination and shop drawings through to closeout. We integrate metering systems across vendors and communication protocols, and we perform functional testing and commissioning to confirm meters are online and billing accurately.

At project completion, VIP inspects the electrical metering installation. VIP is accredited by Measurement Canada to perform verification of electrical metering installations under S-E-04 for multiple-customer metering systems, limited to the meter models and configurations within its authorized scope.
