Reconciliation is a commitment that must be nurtured every day.

This National Indigenous History Month, we reflect on the histories, cultures, knowledge and enduring contributions of First Nations, Inuit and Métis in Canada.

As we live and work on these lands, it is important to understand the history of the places we call home and our role as residents, neighbours, partners and caretakers. Guided by the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's Call to Action #92, Wyloo is committed to building meaningful relationships with Indigenous communities, promoting equitable opportunities for training and employment, supporting Indigenous business development and growth, and providing ongoing learning and awareness of Indigenous histories and issues within our organization.

Throughout June, our cover photo serves as a reminder of this commitment. We encourage you to join us in learning, reflecting and considering the role each of us can play in advancing reconciliation.

We had the privilege of participating in this year's Webequie First Nation Career Fair.

It was wonderful to see such a great turnout and connect with both familiar and new faces from the community. We appreciated the opportunity to share the latest updates on our Eagle's Nest Project and plans for advancing responsible development in the region.

Meegwetch Webequie First Nation for a great event and to everyone who stopped by our booth! We truly valued the connections, conversations and feedback, and look forward to seeing you at next year's Career Fair!

In this episode, we explore what it means to build with intention – and why keeping things small matters. It is all part of our aim to build one of the smallest footprint mines in the world, in partnership with First Nation communities.

Join Erik Wimmelbacher from our Projects Team and returning guest Zahir Jina as they discuss the planning, purpose and partnerships shaping the future of the Eagle’s Nest Project.

May 5 marks Red Dress Day, the National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Girls and Two-Spirit People (MMIWG2S+) in Canada.

We honour the beloved family members, friends and community members whose absence leaves a profound void. We hold space for the families carrying the weight of their losses and acknowledge the journey toward justice and safety that still lies ahead.

On Red Dress Day, and every day, let us stand together in solidarity, remembrance and action to honour the lives lost and work toward a future free of violence and discrimination.

Our Vice President Projects, Sylvain Goyette, was pleased to attend the Critical Minerals Roundtable hosted by Hatch, alongside leaders from across the sector.

It was a valuable opportunity to engage in discussion with the Honorable, United States Ambassador to Canada, and Bradley Harker, Principal Commercial Officer, U.S. Commercial Service, on the path forward for Canada’s critical minerals.

As momentum builds toward a secure North American supply chain, conversations like these are key to aligning expertise and accelerating progress.

Thank you to Hatch for hosting the event and convening this important discussion.

At Canada 2020 – The Indigenous-Led Economy, our Director Communications, Keren Yun spoke with Zahir Jina, EP, PMP, C.E.T., AScT., Director of Permitting, Government Relations and Sustainability, McEwen Inc. , on transparency, trust and why engagement needs a re-think.

We are at a true inflection point. The decisions made in the next 12–18 months will shape resource development for decades to come. What’s needed is clear: prioritize relationships before process. Without that, speed will not lead to better outcomes.

Thanks to Canada 2020 for bringing together diverse perspectives to help drive the conversation.

What a team!🌟

It is fantastic to be back at the NWOPA 2026 Showcase in Thunder Bay, hosted by the Northwestern Ontario Prospectors Association.

This year’s event is extra special, celebrating "30 Years of Highlighting the Exploration of Northwest Ontario" – a milestone to recognize three decades of exploration and development across the region.

And how fitting it was for our Director Geology, Matthew Deller, to deliver a presentation on one of the most exciting discoveries of critical minerals in the Ring of Fire region – our Eagle's Nest Project!

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth today. Be sure to drop by tomorrow and say hello to our team! 👋

Our founder Dr Andrew Forrest AO and CEO Luca Giacovazzi recently had productive discussions with Canada’s federal and provincial leaders, Mark Carney and FordNation, on the path forward for the country’s critical minerals sector.

Canada’s opportunity to lead in critical minerals depends on collaboration. By working together with government, First Nations and industry, we can support responsible development and firmly establish Canada’s position as a trusted global partner in the critical minerals supply chain.

We look forward to continuing to work together to turn constructive conversations into meaningful action.
