Signing a partnership with dynaCERT (Canada) to promote research of hydrogen technology in internal combustion engines
In the morning of 21/04/2026, Polytechnic University - HCM University and dynaCERT Technology Inc. (Canada) signed a cooperation to promote the research and application of hydrogen technology in internal combustion engines.
Mr. Bernd Krüper – Director of dynaCERT Inc., Mrs. Nguyen Huyen Linh – Director of Petrosouth (partner of dynacERT in Vietnam) and PGS. TS. Pham Tran Vu - Vice Principal of the School hosted the meeting and signing.
dynaCERT is a clean technology company from Canada that specializes in developing solutions that reduce fuel consumption and reduce emissions for diesel engines, most prominent with HydraGENTM technology and HydraLyticaTM systems.
At the working session, the two parties had a positive exchange on potential collaborations in the future. Accordingly, dynaCERT plans to finance and install HydraGENTM system to serve training and research work at the School, while coordinating the implementation of common research topics related to hydrogen, improving fuel efficiency and reducing CO2 emissions.
Both sides also focus on developing laboratory or testing models combining hydrogen technology and diesel engines, enabling students to participate in internships at dynaCERT or related partners, co-organize seminars, workshops, parallel that encourages the exchange of experts, faculty, engineers, and to consider the possibility of supporting scholarships for future students.
The collaborative contents are evaluated in accordance with the training and research strength of the Polytechnic University in the fields of mechanics - motives, energy, environment, electricity - electronics.
Following the signing ceremony, the two sides will continue to work through specialized units to specify content and assess implementation efficiency, laying the groundwork for expanding collaboration in the future.
