The real magic of EV charging isn’t what you see in the parking lot it’s the wiring behind it.

We design modular, expandable wiring systems that make it easy to add more chargers later without tearing up walls or maxing out electrical panels.

It’s what makes our approach truly future-proof.

Whether your building starts with 1 charger or 50, the backbone stays reliable, scalable, and compliant. Ready for whatever demand looks like in the upcoming years.

One of the most common things building boards ask us is this:
‘We’ve approved EV charging… now what?’

That question makes sense. Because the approval is only the starting point, what happens next is what determines whether the project feels smooth or stressful.

After a board says yes, we begin by assessing the building itself. Electrical capacity, existing infrastructure, and how demand is likely to grow over time. That early clarity helps avoid costly changes later.

From there, we design a system that fits the building and the residents, including how chargers are owned and paid for. Some buildings choose to fund the infrastructure upfront. Others opt for Charging-as-a-Service, where there’s no upfront cost and we manage installation, billing, maintenance, and resident support directly.

Once the plan is set, our team handles permits, coordination, installation, and testing. Keeping boards informed without pulling them into the details. And when chargers go live, we stay involved to support residents and ensure the system continues to perform as demand grows.

The goal is simple: EV charging that feels planned.

Every January, condo boards reset. New budgets. New priorities. New conversations about what actually needs attention this year.

As we begin 2026, one issue is moving from ‘future planning’ into ‘current responsibility’: EV charging.

Not because it’s trendy, but because the conditions have changed. Resident demand is rising. Electrical capacity decisions made today affect costs for decades. And buildings that wait often discover that retrofitting under pressure is far more expensive and disruptive than planning ahead.

What effective boards are doing differently in 2026 is simple, but strategic.
▪️ They’re starting with a clear understanding of their building’s electrical infrastructure.
▪️ They’re asking how EV charging can scale fairly across all residents, not just early adopters.
▪️ They’re exploring models that reduce financial and administrative burden on the corporation, instead of adding on to it.

Most importantly, they’re treating EV charging as infrastructure not an amenity. Something that needs to be designed once, done properly, and built to grow with the building.

The boards that plan early don’t just avoid problems later. They protect their reserve funds, reduce future disruption, and position their buildings to remain competitive as expectations continue to rise.

EV charging is a 2026 planning decision and January is when it should start.

Canada’s public charging network is growing fast with over 36,000 public chargers nationwide and a 24% increase in just the past year. That’s good news for EV drivers on the road.

But when it comes to everyday charging, the numbers tell a different story.

Public chargers often come with premium pricing. Level 2 public charging can cost $1 to $2.50 per hour, while Level 3 fast charging can run around $15 per hour, depending on the provider. Those rates include more than electricity, they also cover operating costs, convenience, and location.

At home, it’s a different equation. Residential electricity rates are significantly lower, and many provinces offer time-of-use pricing. In Ontario, the Ultra-Low Overnight Rate drops to 2.8¢ per kWh, meaning a typical EV with a 75 kWh battery can be fully charged overnight for about $3.

That same amount of energy from a public charger would often cost two to eight times more. It’s why nearly 90% of EV charging in Canada happens at home, and why access to home charging remains one of the biggest factors for people considering an EV.

Public chargers play an important role but for daily driving, home charging is still the most affordable, convenient, and reliable option. And for condos, that makes access to home charging more than a convenience, it’s a long-term value decision.

Looking back at 2025, one thing is clear: Canada is charging forward faster than anyone expected.

EV adoption didn’t just grow, it accelerated. Even with policy changes, supply-chain hurdles, and shifting incentives, Canadians continued choosing electric. Provinces like BC and Quebec led the charge, Ontario rebounded with strong year-over-year growth, and demand from condo and apartment residents hit new highs.

But the biggest shift wasn’t just in sales.
It was in expectations.

Residents now want to charge where they live. Businesses want to support employees who drive electric. And cities across the country from Vancouver to Toronto introduced clearer standards, EV-ready rules, and infrastructure programs that signal one thing: EV charging is no longer a ‘nice-to-have.’

It’s the new baseline.

For buildings, 2025 was a wake-up call. Those who planned early avoided retrofits, unlocked incentives, and positioned themselves as future-ready. Those who waited are now racing to catch up.

As we head into 2026, one truth stands out:
The EV future is already here and buildings that prepare now will lead it.

Every building is different, which means every EV charging solution should be too.

We guide you through two ownership models designed to make EV adoption simple, sustainable, and stress-free.

Some buildings prefer the traditional route: paying upfront, owning the equipment, and managing billing, maintenance, and support themselves. It works well for properties that want full control and have the budget to fund infrastructure.

Others choose a more hands-off approach with Charging-as-a-Service (CaaS) where the building pays nothing upfront. We cover the installation and equipment, manage all billing and maintenance, handle upgrades, and work directly with residents so boards aren’t stuck doing administrative work.

Both models work.
The difference is in what works best for your building, your budget, your capacity, and your long-term plans.

And that’s exactly what we help you figure out.

Your building will be EV-ready either way.
