Matthew brings strong project management experience across Commercial, Institutional, and Residential sectors. He leads large-scale greenfield and fit-out projects at BLT and supports clients from site acquisition through design, construction, and post-completion performance. He has a strong focus on fast-paced QSR environments where timing, coordination, and minimal disruption are critical. Known for being hands-on, detail-oriented, and client-focused, he consistently delivers complex projects with precision.

What do most people underestimate about delivering successful QSR fit-outs under tight timelines?
The level of organization required across the entire project team. Owners, consultants, suppliers, and contractors all need to be tightly aligned. Success comes from applying proven construction management processes. As the industry becomes more digital, these processes are becoming more efficient and easier to coordinate.
Where are the biggest opportunities to optimize QSR delivery while maintaining schedule and expectations?
Advance procurement, resource planning, and contingency planning. This relies on detailed scheduling and clear deliverables for all parties, developed collaboratively. Issues will arise, so the ability to adapt quickly or plan for them in advance is key.
What differentiates a well-executed QSR rollout from one that just meets schedule?
A well-defined high-quality scope. In the “triple constraint” of cost, time, and scope, QSR projects typically prioritize speed and cost. At BLT, we also focus on delivering quality construction to balance all three.
