A late 🤓

🎬 Harrison Ford. Indiana Jones. Han Solo. And apparently, a self-confessed roadie in Lycra. 🚴‍♂️ ✨

The Hollywood legend has been quietly riding road bikes for years, putting in 35 to 40 miles at a time and making no apologies for the kit. "I like the spandex. It's comfortable." Fair enough, Harrison.

There's something brilliant about one of cinema's most iconic tough guys admitting he's fully bought into the roadie life - the miles, the gear, and
all.

Turns out the force was always with cycling.

..where Vision Zero started..

A single road death is one too many.

In 2024, 19,940 people lost their lives in road traffic accidents across the EU, a 12% drop compared to 2019.

But every road death is a tragedy.
And progress is real. But it is not enough.

To meet our goal of halving road deaths and serious injuries by 2030 and moving towards Vision Zero by 2050, we must accelerate our efforts.

We will focus on safer infrastructure, stronger enforcement, vehicle technologies, new mobility, and road safety research.

Safer roads are not optional. They are essential.
