Today we celebrate Finland's Independence day. Siparila's story began over 100 years ago. Hilmer Sojakka had to leave his home because of the Winter War but his stories about Siparila village, its people and his beloved home were told to his grandchildren. Siparila Oy is named with rexpect to my grandfather Hilmer, to remind us all of the importance of home.

Helsinki residents and tourists visiting Helsinki will get a new living room when Lapuan Kankurit opens its fully renovated store in Katariinankatu 2. In a quiet, peaceful store you can relax and breathe in the middle of the busy capital. The new store was designed by the Japanese design agency IMA Design Mana and Takashi Kobayashi. KOO2 interior panel was used in this project.

Wood is a perfect choice for commercial environments. Interior of the Lapuan Kankurit new store emphasizes tranquility and birch tones in a new, modern way.
