We took a small, unfinished basement bathroom and turned it into something open, bright, and modern proof that even the smallest spaces can become something beautiful with a little vision and a lot of hard work. Renovation isn’t just about changing a room, it’s about changing how a space feels when you walk into it. From dark and cramped to clean and calm, this little bathroom got a whole new life.

This was a deeply involved transformation — with plenty of firsts for us.

At Kismet Renovations, we’re always pushing the envelope and expanding what we can offer our clients. When we collaborate closely and truly listen, clients are free to dream — and we bring the craftsmanship and expertise to turn those dreams into reality.

Looking back, even we’re amazed at the jaw-dropping change.

This space is layered with high-end, luxury details. A few highlights you’ll notice in the video:

• A black and white freestanding tub paired with a dramatic waterfall faucet
• Glowing tempered glass crowning the shower’s pony wall
• Four strategically placed niches, each illuminated with dimmable LED lighting
• An intricate herringbone backsplash cradling the vanities’ vessel sinks
• A multifunctional fireplace adding warmth and ambiance
• Dual his-and-hers shower heads — each with its own handheld
• A perfectly nestled corner bench for comfort and function

Some details make a bold statement. Others are subtle. And some are completely hidden behind the walls. But together, they work in harmony to create a true luxury oasis within this master suite.

Waterproofing around a freestanding tub 🛀 and toilet 🚽 isn’t just about leaks—it’s about peace of mind.
Spills happen. Kids splash. Life gets messy.

That’s why we sealed the floor with an uncoupling membrane, waterproofed every seam, and even banded up onto the painted walls. The bathroom is essentially a contained system—only a massive flood would ever make it out.

The most important (and often forgotten) detail? Fully sealed corners. Miss those, and all the effort is compromised.

When a lot of water moves through a space, protection matters. This en-suite is built to stay solid and dry for years to come—no rotting floors, no damaged drywall, just a space meant to be enjoyed.

Shhhh… 🤫🔥

We’ve never installed a fireplace in a bathroom before—but standing here now, we’re asking ourselves… why not?!

This killer bathroom is about to level up in a big way. Large-format marbled tile climbing the walls, perfectly contrasted by those moody charcoal hexagons… and honestly? We had to pause and catch our breath.

We cannot wait to show you the finished reveal. This one is going to be seriously cool. 😎

Every stage of a bathroom renovation demands precision, patience, and attention to detail.

From behind the scenes, framing, plumbing, and electrical work to careful layout and planning, each step plays a critical role in creating a bathroom that’s not only beautiful, but built to last.💪🏼🛠️

Below you’ll see we have installed Schluter-Systems Kerdi board, shower pan, bench, niches, and curb. With this phase complete we’re ready to move on to installing the Kerdi banding and and Kerdi corners to ensure a completely sealed and waterproof shower system.

Once sealed we move onto our favorite part, the tiling phase🤩 This is where the craftsmanship and hard work truly starts to shine and the custom features of this bathroom begin to come to life.

Stay tuned as we continue working toward the final reveal and showcase all the incredible features we have in store for our viewers and our client😁
