CIVIL PIPELAYERS
GENERAL LABOURERS

OVERVIEW:

CIVIL PIPELAYER: At least 1 year of civil construction experience that involved installing utility components for water, sanitary, storm, etc. systems (MANDATORY)

GENERAL LABOURER:
Ability to lift objects up to 50lbs.
Effective Communication skills (English)
Understanding of current OH&S safe work practices and regulations
Ability to work 5 days a week, 8+ hours per day
Ability to commute to job site locations in the lower mainland
Ability to work outside in various weather conditions

CIVIL PIPELAYER: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

GENERAL LABOURER: $26.00-$28.00 per hour

*Traffic Control Person's are Urgently Needed*

Hexcel Construction has been one of the lower mainland's premier site servicing contractors since 1985. We are currently looking for Traffic Control Person's to help keep our crews safe on the roadways.

The daily duties of the position involve the following:

Performing traffic flow control methods such as stopping, slowing and redirecting traffic
Performing minor traffic control setup according to traffic control plans
Working and coordinating with other TCP's onsite
Daily involvement in safety conscious activities
Working in and around heavy machinery and 8-10 person crews

All applicants applying for the position should have the following qualifications:

Have a minimum of 1 year of TCP experience (preferred)
Hold a valid TCP certification (Mandatory)
Be comfortable working in teams
Have an excellent attitude
Have a strong work ethic
Have good communication skills
Be physically fit and reliable
Have valid BC driver's license (preferred)

This position is full time - Monday to Friday from approximately 7AM - 3PM at various work sites around the lower mainland. The position offers competitive wages, 4% holiday pay, health and dental coverage, life and long term disability insurance and RRSP matching.

The wage is $26.50 for TCP's with at least 6 months of experience. The wage is $24.50 for TCP's with zero experience.
