A clearer view from above as our team continues skylight glass replacement work, with safety at the forefront of every operation.

Bringing precision, careful coordination, and attention to detail to every stage of the process, our team is working within the existing architectural structure to ensure improvements are delivered safely and efficiently while preserving the building’s architectural integrity.

As we continue to enhance the spaces we work in, our commitment remains focused on quality craftsmanship, long-term performance, and building with purpose.

Today marks a meaningful milestone as we officially break ground on the EVERGREEN COMMUNITY HOSPICE SUPPORTS Residence, Markham’s first hospice residence.

Our team arrived early this morning to prepare the site for this special occasion, knowing that today represents much more than the beginning of another construction project.

As the first shovels break ground, we are not simply laying the foundation for a new building. We are helping create a lasting place of comfort, compassion, and dignity for individuals and families during some of life’s most difficult moments.

At Zgemi, we believe the true impact of construction extends far beyond the structures we build. It lives in the communities we serve and the lives those spaces touch.

We are incredibly proud to be part of this historic milestone and grateful to Evergreen Hospice, our project partners, community leaders, and everyone whose dedication and vision have helped bring this project to life.

Congratulations to everyone involved! We look forward to bringing this meaningful project to life, one milestone at a time.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month; a time to raise awareness, support those affected, and stand together for a future without breast cancer.

In Canada, 1 in 8 women are expected to be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime. An estimated 31,900 Canadians will be diagnosed this year, while approximately 290 men are diagnosed annually. On average, 87 Canadian women receive a breast cancer diagnosis every day.

This year, the ZGEMI team joined the CIBC Run for the Cure, coming together in support of those impacted by breast cancer and the ongoing work toward better outcomes.

Awareness matters. Support matters. And every step counts.

Progress you can see. Purpose you can feel.

In Amherstburg, every step brings us closer to delivering a long-term care home that will become part of this community for generations.

Proud of the people behind the progress; our team, consultants, trades and partners.

Building for today. Creating something that lasts.

We had the privilege of attending the Halpern W**e Tasting Gala in support of Evergreen Hospice and its new hospice residence.

Hosted at Porsche Centre Markham, the evening brought together community partners and supporters around a shared purpose: helping raise funds to bring Evergreen’s new home to life.

As the builder of this meaningful project, our connection to the evening went beyond attending. It was an opportunity to support the people and mission behind a space we are proud to help create, a home designed to provide compassionate end-of-life care, comfort and dignity to individuals and their families.

Thank you to EVERGREEN COMMUNITY HOSPICE SUPPORTS, Halpern W**e and everyone who came together in support of this important project.

We are grateful to be part of the journey, both on and beyond the construction site.

SOME BUILDINGS ARE BUILT TO IMPRESS. OTHERS ARE BUILT TO COMFORT.

There are moments in life when a building becomes much more than walls, rooms and a roof.

It becomes a place where a family can hold a hand a little longer.
Where someone can find comfort instead of fear.
Where dignity, compassion and love matter more than anything else.

That is what makes our connection with EVERGREEN COMMUNITY HOSPICE SUPPORTS so meaningful to us.

Together with our project partners, Zgemi has the privilege of helping bring a new hospice to life, a place that will care for individuals and their families during some of the most difficult and deeply personal moments they will ever face.

As builders, we spend our lives creating buildings. But every once in a while, we are reminded that what we are really building is a place for people.

A place for comfort.
A place for dignity.
A place for families to simply be together when time matters most.

Thank you to the Evergreen Hospice team for visiting us and, more importantly, for the extraordinary work you do every day.

We are proud to build alongside you. And even prouder knowing who this building will be there for.

ZGEMI was proud to sponsor the 2026 ARIDO Awards and celebrate the designers whose ideas continue to shape the spaces where we live, work and connect.

As builders, we have the privilege of taking those ideas from drawings to reality. The best projects happen when designers and builders work together with one goal — delivering something everyone can be proud of.

Congratulations to this year’s award recipients, and thank you to ARIDO for bringing Ontario’s design community together for a great evening.

At ZGEMI, we don’t just build buildings. We build the vision behind them.

We’ve just completed the mock-up room for one of our newest hospitality projects, an exciting milestone that gives the first real sense of what’s to come.

Modern, refined and thoughtfully detailed, this project reflects our client’s vision and commitment to creating an exceptional guest experience. We’re proud to be the construction partner helping bring that vision to life.

There is still plenty of work ahead, but we’re excited about what this project will add to Toronto’s hospitality landscape.

At Zgemi, we don’t just build spaces, we bring our clients’ vision to life.

You see a building.

We see the hands that built its foundation.

The trades that made it work.

The people who kept it moving.

The thousands of hours you’ll never see.

This Labour Day, we celebrate the people behind the places we build.

Happy Labour Day from Zgemi.
