A Complementary Portfolio of Assets
Successful mergers are built on strong integration, clear synergies, and cultural alignment. Scale alone is not enough. Long-term value comes from complementary assets, teams, and strategy.
After extensive discussions and due diligence with Rick Van Nieuwenhuyse, CEO of Contango ORE, we recognized the strong fit between the Contango’s and Dolly Varden Silver’s North American asset portfolios.
The combined portfolio spans the full mine life cycle.
Contango’s Manh Choh is a producing gold mine, generating cash flow in Alaska. Lucky Shot is at the advanced exploration / development stage, fully permitted with underground development completed and active drilling underway toward a restart decision. Johnson Tract is an advanced development-stage critical metals project, supported by a completed PEA, FAST-41 designation, and ongoing permitting and infrastructure planning.
Dolly Varden Silver’s Kitsault Valley project is at the advanced exploration stage, with a large, high-grade silver-gold resource and continued drilling ahead of a resource update.
Together, the combined company creates a diversified, multi-asset silver and gold platform operating exclusively in the safe jurisdictions of the United States and Canada.
