Northwest BC is truly the powerhouse of BC’s mining industry.

Home to the Nisga’a, Tahltan, and Taku River Tlingit Nations, there are 13 proposed critical mineral and precious metal mining projects in Northwest BC. The estimated near-term economic impacts associated with the construction of these projects includes:

☑️ $29 billion in investment
☑️ $37 billion in economic activity
☑️ $16 billion of GDP
☑️ 121,000 person years of employment & $10.6 billion in labour income
☑️ $4.7 billion in tax revenue
