We are a robotics team at UBC, Vancouver, Canada. We design, build and compete our robots at international tournaments.

UBC Snowbots is an interdisciplinary student team with the goal of R&D in the field of autonomous ground vehicle technologies and robotic systems. We tend to make awesome robots and have fun while making them!

With their support and the use of the FLUI’DEVICE product, UBC Rover is able to push the boundaries of our design, specifically by implementing microfluidic life detection assays on our rover. Thank you, Eden Tech, for helping us innovate and achieve our mission goals!

Join UBC Rover in collaboration with UBC Agrobot, UAS, Thunderbird and Sailbot for an evening of robotics, learning, and pizza 🍕! This event is all about making robotics more approachable, highlighting diverse pathways into STEM, and showcasing how robotics is shaping the real world.

Expect short presentations, live demos, Q&A, and time to connect with others interested in robotics. Whether you’re curious about exploring new terrains, collecting data, or just want a slice of pizza while learning something new, this event is for you!

CIRC 2025 was great 🤩

From heavy rainstorms to last-minute adjustments, this year’s competition in Drumheller, AB, threw us a few curveballs, but our team and rover rose to the challenge. Working side by side under pressure brought out some of our best problem-solving yet, and we came home with fresh ideas and even more drive for the year ahead.
