This past month, we had the Aeonian Resources team together for a visit to the Koocanusa Copper Project The purpose was a property visit in order to complete a new NI 43-101 report on the company's main asset. Additionally, samples were collected and the group got to see both the Upper and Lower copper cycles, access roads, and the project's sheer size.

The East Kootenay Chamber of Mines is a non-profit organization incorporated in 1992 to actively promote mining, exploration and education in south-eastern British Columbia. The Chamber runs local community outreach programs to enhance education and deliver information to the community through various events. They also maintain a regional core storage facility near Fort Steele, which includes core from notable sites such as the Sullivan Mine, Estella, Vulcan and across the Koocanusa Project.

The local Grizzly Bear population is part of a transnational group that ranges across the Canada-US border and is fragmented mainly due to human activity. To date, no Grizzly bears have been sighted at Koocanusa, although we remain diligent in protecting the animals and not disturbing their natural activities.
