Today marks an important milestone for Standard Lithium and the South West Arkansas Project. We are pleased to announce the successful conclusion of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) review process with a Finding of No Significant Impact (FONSI) from the U.S. Department of Energy. The completion of the NEPA review reflects the extensive environmental and community engagement work completed by our team and partners throughout project development and represents a major step forward in advancing a domestic lithium supply chain critical to U.S. energy security, manufacturing, and economic growth.
As we continue progressing toward a final investment decision and construction, we remain focused on responsibly developing one of North America’s most significant lithium resources while creating long-term opportunities for the state of Arkansas and strengthening America’s critical minerals independence.

Thank you to our employees, partners, advisors, local stakeholders, and government agencies who have supported this process and helped move the project forward.

Six years strong, 340,000 man-hours of operation with no lost-time incidents — that's something to be proud of!

Our team consistently shows up, performs their tasks carefully and correctly, and looks out for each other every single day.

We celebrated the best way we know how — good food, laughter, and great company. Johnny Joseph and Kenny Kendrick did an amazing job on the grill; not one person left hungry.

Here's to the hard work we've accomplished so far and to many more safe years ahead!

We’re proud to share that Jon Lee Avery, Lab Manager, and Will Smith, DLE Plant Manager, at Standard Lithium, have been nominated and awarded the Patriot Award by the Arkansas Army National Guard. This very special recognition honors managers who support their employees as they serve our country.

“I am proud of my service in the Arkansas Army National Guard and having the ability to stand ready to help my neighbors in times of need. For me to do that, however, it does take time away from my civilian life for training and operations. I nominated Jon Lee and Will because they have shown me more than enough support to allow me to leave home and focus on any mission that comes my way. I am thankful for them and proud to work beside them.”

Jackson Gray, Chemist, Standard Lithium

The Patriot Award is an honor given by the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) to individual supervisors who support service members, such as by providing flexible schedules and time off. This nomination speaks to the support Jackson Gray received during his activations.

Jackson Gray, thank you for your service.
