Leviathan Metals Corp (TSX-V:LVX) has closed its ‘best efforts’ private placement to raise C$10 million ($10.17 million) for drilling and other exploration activities across its portfolio of assets.

The company has issued 15.62 million common shares at C$0.64 each, issued pursuant to the listed issuer financing exemption.

Leviathan directors and executive officers subscribed for a total of 1.03 million common shares in this offer, raising aggregate gross proceeds of $663,488.

Funds will be used for activities across the company’s properties in Botswana, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Australia, as well as for working capital and general corporate purposes.

The License covers approximately 270 square kilometers, expanding the Project to a total area of 590 square kilometers1. Leviathan Metals Corp (TSX-V:LVX) has been granted an exploration licence to expand the Foča Project, located in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Adjoining the Marevo licence to the south and the east, the Tjemenik licence was granted by the Ministry of Energy and Mining of Republika Srpska and covers an area of 50km2.
Tjemenik brings the Foča Project to a total area of 150.7km2, with an application for the Podovi licence still pending. Podovi sits to the west of Morevo in similar stratigraphy and structure.

CEO Luke Norman says the granting of the Tjemenik licence is an “important” step in growing the Foča landholding, after uncovering polymetallic mineralisation at the Vrela-Kremin trend.
