Altamira Gold continues to expand the footprint of the Maria Bonita mineral resource at the Cajueiro Project in Brazil.
Today’s results from step-out drill hole MBA037 returned:
🔹 130m @ 0.5 g/t gold
🔹 Including 40m @ 0.8 g/t gold
Importantly, the hole was drilled 110 metres outside the current NI 43-101 resource boundary and approximately 300 metres north of previously reported hole MBA036.
These latest results confirm that the Maria Bonita porphyry-hosted gold system remains open to the north, west and at depth, highlighting significant potential for future resource growth.
🔹 First occurrence of quartz veining and gold mineralization identified within tuffaceous wall rocks
🔹 Second wide mineralized intercept reported outside the current resource model
🔹 Additional drilling planned to test continuity and scale of the newly identified mineralized phase
--CEO Michael John Bennett commented:
“The latest two drill holes completed at Maria Bonita have exceeded our expectations and suggest the porphyry-hosted gold deposit remains open to the west and north.”
