From concept to show floor - we build booths turnkey.

At Custom Engineered Arts, we take care of the entire process: design, engineering, fabrication, finishing, and installation.

We work with a wide range of materials and technologies - metal, wood, acrylic, foam, 3D printing, CNC machining, custom lighting, signage, and more - all produced under one roof.

Whether it’s a trade show, conference, brand activation, or special event, we can transform an idea into a fully fabricated, ready-to-use space.

One team. Multiple technologies. One complete solution.

We often show the final result - beautiful images, finished installations, and carefully crafted objects.

But behind every one of those images is the daily work of our team.

Wood, metal, EPS foam, epoxy, robot programming or 3D printing - behind every detail are human hands, experience, knowledge, and passion for the craft.

Technology helps us create complex things, but it’s people who bring ideas to life.

We’re incredibly proud of our fabrication team - the people who make it all possible.

The Tree of Cinema - from artistic concept to reality.

Our co-founders, artists Yury Goncharov and Alina Tacmelova, presented The Tree of Cinema, a conceptual art installation created exclusively for the Toronto International Film Festival TIFF .

The idea began with the tree as a universal symbol of life, knowledge, and memory. Its sculptural canopy is formed by flowing film strips carrying iconic moments from cinema - fragments of stories, emotions, and images that become part of our collective memory.

The Custom Engineered Arts team brought this artistic vision into physical form, transforming the artists’ concept and design into a large-scale installation through engineering, fabrication, and craftsmanship.

It was a true collaboration between art and fabrication - from the first idea to the final structure standing in the heart of TIFF.

How do you recreate a piece of baseball history when almost no reference material exists?

For Buck Martinez’s catcher’s mask, our starting point was incredibly limited: one archival photograph and a short piece of video footage.
No drawings.
No dimensions.
No CAD files.
No additional views of the original mask.
The exact model was nowhere to be found, so our team had to reverse-engineer it from what little visual information existed - studying proportions, geometry, connections and every visible detail to reconstruct the mask as faithfully as possible.

A significant part of the project happened before fabrication even began. Countless hours went into 3D modelling and interpreting details that were only partially visible in the reference material.

From there, the mask brought together several fabrication technologies under one build: 3D printing, robotic CNC machining, custom metal fabrication, hard coating, finishing and painting.
The final challenge was assembly. Components produced through completely different processes had to come together precisely as one object - at an entirely different scale.

From one photograph and a few seconds of archival footage to a fully realized oversized recreation of Buck Martinez’s catcher’s mask.

Sometimes fabrication starts with a drawing.
Sometimes it starts with almost nothing.

Let’s talk about the work that usually stays behind the scenes.

This oversized microphone was created by our team for the Toronto Blue Jays Toronto Blue Jays and Buck Martinez, celebrating an important chapter of his remarkable career as one of Canada’s most recognizable baseball broadcasters.

Behind every project is a skilled team, precision, craftsmanship, and a very close friendship with machines.

Every centimetre matters. Every millimetre matters.

Because exceptional quality, attention to detail, and service are at the core of everything we create.
Special thanks to BaAM team!
