We got the green light on this job 🙌

The charger gets all the attention. The work behind it earns it. ⚡

This recent Wallbox EV Charger install gives one Audi e-tron a dependable place to charge at home, with the unit positioned where it’s easy to reach and the cable stays neat.

A proper EV charger installation starts before anything is mounted.

Available electrical capacity, circuit protection, charger requirements, cable reach and where the vehicle actually parks all need to work together.

Clean on the wall. Convenient at the charge port. Ready when the driver is.

Plug in when you get home. Wake up ready to go. That’s a pretty good upgrade to the daily routine. 🔌

Thinking about bringing EV charging home?

Our electrical team specializes in professional EV Charger assessments and installation throughout the North Okanagan.

They can assess your setup and help you choose the right option for your home and vehicle.

With a 5-star rating and rave reviews, we’re charged up about EV installs!

Clean air has a dirty little secret: with all this smoke and ash we've been having, the equipment doing the cleaning needs a little attention.

This call started with a blower loud enough that the homeowner shut the system down.

Devin traced the noise back to an electronic air-cleaner filter so packed with dust that it was restricting airflow through the entire system.

Testing the blower with and without the filter produced an immediate change in amp draw, airflow and sound. The motor and AC checked out.

This air cleaner had been working hard for too long.

These filters help capture dust and airborne particles before they keep cycling through the home.

The UV lights add another layer of protection inside the system, but their effectiveness also declines as the bulbs age, even when they still appear to be working.

A fresh Clean Air Defense bulb kit was approved to help get the full indoor air quality system back to work.

Because cleaner air isn’t one shiny add-on. It’s a system, and the combined pieces are what keep it pulling its weight. 🌬️

If it’s been a while since anyone checked yours, consider this your gentle, slightly ashy reminder.

Plenty of people talk about the future of the trades. This year, we put some weight behind it. 🛠️

We created the Vernon Air Conditioning, Plumbing & Electrical Services Trades Scholarship to help a local graduate get started with some real support behind them.

Jake had the honour of presenting our first-ever scholarship to Benjamin Challen, a 2026 graduate of Kalamalka Secondary School.

The trades need smart, curious people who want to keep learning, solve real problems and take pride in doing things properly.

Those people deserve more than a pat on the back. They deserve people willing to invest in their potential.

Congratulations, Benjamin. One step forward and a career’s worth of learning ahead.

The standard starts with people. Sometimes, they’re just getting started.

58 microns. The kind of number that gets an HVAC group chat going. 🤓

After isolating the vacuum pump, this system rose to just 125 microns during the five-minute decay test. That tells us the refrigeration circuit isn’t just tight. It’s exceptionally clean and dry.

A proper vacuum removes moisture and non-condensable gases before the refrigerant is released.

Left behind, those contaminants can affect oil, create acids, restrict the metering device and make the compressor work harder than it should.

This is why our techs get the right tools, the right process and the time to prove their work. A clean system starts with better heat transfer, proper operating pressures and fewer avoidable problems built into the installation.

You’ll never see this step once the panels go back on, but the equipment will know the difference. 👌

Turns out, the strongest thing in this reel isn’t the rebar. It’s the buying power. 👀

Vernon AC Buying Groups bring local homeowners with similar planned upgrades together so we can purchase select York air conditioners and furnaces in greater volume.

The benefit is simple: the bigger the group, the stronger our purchasing power and the deeper the savings we can pass back to you.

And this isn’t about squeezing every home into the same system. We still look at your home, your equipment needs and your priorities, then give you the information to make the right call, at the right time.

Current Buying Group savings start at a 10% minimum, with Vernon AC Service Club members saving an additional 5% for a massive 15% off.

Planning an AC or furnace replacement? Don’t buy alone. 🔧

Concrete doesn’t do do-overs. 🧱

Before Matt and Nick cored through this foundation wall for a new three-ton AC and furnace installation, we worked with the homeowner to review the venting route and confirm exactly where the openings should go.

We bring the technical requirements. The customer brings the context, including how they use the space and what matters to them.

The right plan needs both.

Once the route was agreed on, Matt and Nick laid out the openings and used a purpose-built coring tool to make clean, controlled cuts through the thick concrete.

The drilling takes skill, but the process starts before the tool ever touches the wall. Clear options. A confirmed plan. A precise handoff. Then the right people and equipment to carry it through.

Because anyone can drill a hole. The work is making sure it’s the right hole, in the right place, for the right reason. 🔧

Expert guidance. Informed choice. Accountable work.
