Welcome to “La Cucina del Plazzo Rosa – The kitchen of the Pink Palace.”
The addition and renovation of this 1950’s home, was a labour of love. Working closely with the home owners, to make their vision of their dream kitchen come alive. This open concept kitchen provides a space and functional ease as it escorts you to the double bi-fold glass doors overlooking the plush and garden-like backyard, where you can sit and enjoy a glass of Merlot on their beautiful deck.
The use of rounded walls, cabinetry and the arc in the doorways adds to the creative charm of this 1950’s home. While using under-cabinet lighting and the perfect tile placement gives the kitchen more of a modern touch. The use and functionality in the cabinetry were a must, offering ease of access with a “Magic Corner”, and wide cabinetry doors and drawers. Each cabinet and drawer had their own special place in “The Kitchen of the Pink Palace”, right down the charging port drawer for all electronic devices allowing you to free up clutter from your counter tops. The colour scheme of whites gives the space a bright and open feel, with a pop of luscious rich red for the wine bar area tying in nicely with the stunning red Range. Overall, this kitchen offers anyone everything of their minds desire; functionality and comfort all while being paired with perfect lighting.
This bathroom was a full renovation, now offering full walk-in shower, plumbing and new vanity. The use of blues and greys as the colour scheme, offers a more ocean-like atmosphere. Giving the sense of peace and calmness when you enter into it.
