20 rooftop units. Five buildings. Five days.

Our commercial team just wrapped the heavy lift on one of our biggest RTU replacement projects of the year: a full changeout across a busy retail centre, with tenants open for business the entire time.

Weeks of planning, detailed scheduling, daily communication with ownership, and a crew that showed up early and executed all week. Every tenant space was back up and running on schedule.

Proud of this group. This is what Foster Heating & Cooling looks like at full speed.

❄️ BEFORE ➡️ AFTER ❄️

What a transformation.

Our refrigeration team recently completed a full walk-in cooler replacement for a local food processing customer, including:

✅ New insulated cooler box
✅ New high-efficiency refrigeration equipment
✅ Modern controls and electrical upgrades
✅ Improved reliability and temperature performance
✅ Clean, sanitary, food-safe environment

The result is a completely rebuilt cooler designed to deliver dependable performance for years to come while helping protect product quality and reduce operating costs.

A great example of how investing in refrigeration infrastructure can transform both appearance and functionality.

If your cooler, freezer, or refrigeration system is nearing the end of its life, our team can help evaluate options before a failure impacts your operation.

In 1928, Foster Heating & Cooling started serving Vancouver Island. A lot has changed since then, but the trucks are still rolling every day.

95+ years of showing up matters. Whether it’s your first call with us or your fiftieth, we treat every job the same way.

Give us a shout if we can help.

Ocean views. Nearly 200 systems. Precision ex*****on.

We’re currently mid-construction on a large multi-family project in Colwood where our team is responsible for the supply and install of nearly 200 Mitsubishi heat pump systems - including layout, design, supply, and complete installation.

Projects like this don’t happen by accident.
They require coordination, detailed planning, and field ex*****on that’s dialed in.

Proud of our crew and proud to be part of shaping high-performance housing here on the Island. Excited to eventually showcase the fully completed install.
