Each project we work on is informed by Indigenous outlooks to overcome the pervasive colonial biases built into most technologies in their fundamental logic.
ChinookX Technologies Ltd's core machine learning algorithm enables users to train any program or data network organically - essentially writing the code as it goes - to avoid top-down design limitations.
The origin story of ChinookX stems from a single question, "Can you program a blockchain with Indigenous consensus protocols?" This questions remains a central tenant of our technology design processes and is also the focus of ongoing research in partnership with Blockchain@UBC through the National Science and Engineering Research Council (NSERC).
