NAN Site Servicing LTD – South Vancouver Island, BC

Wages: $40–$45/hr (Negotiable based on experience and skill) and benefits

We’re looking for a dedicated and skilled Excavator Operator to join the team at NAN Site Servicing LTD. If you take pride in your work, value safety, and enjoy the challenge of a dynamic workday, we want to hear from you.

What We’re Looking For:
The ideal candidate thrives in both team and independent settings and brings a professional, safety-first mindset to every job site. Our work can be diverse—no two days are the same.

Must-Haves:
• Proven experience operating excavators
• Experience with demolition projects
• A valid drivers license with a clean abstract
• Commitment to safety and environmental stewardship
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Nice to Have:
• Ability to operate skid steers and other equipment
• Mechanically inclined
• Experience with utilities/ civil work
• Class 1 or 3 Drivers License

NAN Site Servicing recently completed the civil scope for a seismic generator and propane tank installation in Port Renfrew.
For IDR Construction & Mott Electrical

Our team rebuilt the driveway, cleared and hauled away brush and stumps, drilled and epoxied 72 rebar anchors into the rock, formed and poured the concrete pads, and completed the concrete encasement up to the building.
And installed the genorator and propane tank.

This was a detailed project that required solid planning, proper prep work, and a clean ex*****on from start to finish.

Big day for the trades community. 💪🛠️

Yesterday we took part in what you could call a Construction & demolition Kick off ceremony for The Forge Recovery Centre — an incredible new initiative by the Construction Foundation of BC dedicated to supporting mental health, recovery, and wellness for people in the construction and trades industry.

This project means a lot.
Construction is a tough industry — physically and mentally — and The Forge will be a safe place where tradespeople can find support, connection, and help when they need it most.

Another job wrapped up for Newton Valley Excavating 👷‍♂️♻️

We were able to crush the concrete on site and the client was able to reuse it as base material for the Sooke Skate Park. By reusing the material on site, the client avoided hauling concrete away and bringing that much less aggregate back in—saving time, reducing costs, and keeping the carbon footprint to a minimum.

Smart, efficient, and sustainable work all around. 💪🌱
