We have the fancy tools, but I like my old husky 550 with an adapted slim echo bar. It's a perfect match for power, precision, and SPEED. My advice for the newbies, Get good, then get fast, then push yourself to get faster.

I just realized that it was 25 years ago about this time of year when I gave my employer at the time, Tim Bullock 6 months notice that i was going to quit.
Tim asked me what I was going to do.
Me. I am going to open my own log building business.
Tim. its not going to be easy Matt.
Me. Tim, I could shovel sh*t and make $18 per hour :)
Well, Tim gave me a raise to $20 per hour that day for my last 6 months, and he pushed me to produce and meet different challenges. And I did.
That would have been the best paying job I would see for the following 10 to 12 years. Tim was right. It was the opposite of easy.
Since then, we have produced some of the most original works. always trying to keep it fresh, and stand apart from the rest.
Happy 25 years to us this year!
