Hello all. We recently spoke with one of our customers from Summerland to check-in with them. The gentleman, George, lived on Fish Lake Road located at the heart of the Bald Creek Wildfire. Choking back tears, he told us that they had to flee on a moment's notice and their home had been lost. According to him they had to run out of the house as the fire burned and left behind the majority of their possessions. He mentioned he did not even have time to grab his wallet.

Long story short, his daughter has set up a GoFundMe and the link is below. Even a small donation goes a long way to show these new residents of the Okanagan how our community can band together.

He is a good and honest man with a great wife. He paid our invoice immediately. Now it is our turn.

Last week Metsky Electric had the privilege of joining the Kelowna Chamber of Commerce and attending the 120th Anniversary of the Chamber. We learnt about the history of business in our region and the vision our leaders have for the future. The future looks bright!
