Just cause the name has "Mechanical" in it doesn't mean they are ticketed or competent.

Furnace was done for an upgrade and renovation. Unfortunately there is not enough air flow and the furnace is cycling off high limit which in turn is preventing the furnace from heating the space to meet the set point on thermostat. Heat rise does not meet manufacturer's label. 3 out of 4 floor registers have less than 8cfm of air coming out of them as the duct work was not sized properly using a heat loss calculation and a ductulator.

An anemometer is a device used to calculate air velocity as well as cfm of duct work and supply heat runs.

Certain Municipalities require a heat loss calculation to be completed prior to a new furnace being installed, as well replacements. This is to ensure "rule of thumb" sizing is not used and thus ensuring that the furnace is sized properly to the home/ building/ structure.

Morning Service call to assist the The Hanlyman on a Main Water isolation valve replacement for a home owner where the C.C. could not be shut off.
