During a recent visit to Grande Cache, I worked alongside the Tawow Nation at Location #5. Regrettably, our team encountered a failed system resulting from frozen piping during the prior winter. We undertook excavation and cleanup efforts beneath the residence and transported contaminated materials off-site. Furthermore, repairs were made to damaged piping, and an electrical outlet and high-level alarm were installed on the pre-existing holding tank to prevent similar failures from recurring.

Recently, I spent several weeks in Grande Cache collaborating with the Tawow Nation. At Location #4, we encountered an aged system that had failed and backed up under the residence. Following the cleanup, it was discovered that the tank was compromised, necessitating the expedited delivery of a replacement tank to the location. This installation received a comprehensive upgrade, including a new 780LP septic tank, collars brought to surface, a Liberty hand pump, a serviceable hand union and piping, an electrical outlet, and a high-level alarm, in addition to an existing above-ground discharge system.ce

I recently completed a multi-week assignment in Grande Cache, working closely with the Tawow Nation. At Location #3, we faced a more complex scenario. The previous contractor had already completed the tank excavation and placement, but we were responsible for finishing the project. By bringing the collars to surface, we were the able to install a new pump, serviceable hand union, power outlet, high-level alarm, and above-ground discharge. We also ensured the area was properly backfilled and landscaped after completion.
