Who else think this looks satisfying?

This was the second log home we’ve done spray foam on, and the results speak for themselves.
The first homeowner told us it’s never been so warm in the winter or cool in the summer since we finished.

We’re excited to share more during- and after-photos of this project as we catch up on updates from jobs completed over the summer.

We may have been quiet lately, but that’s because we’ve been busy!
Back in June, the house officially passed its final inspection, and we’ve since completed the final blower door test — with results we’re extremely proud of.
- A regular new home in BC (Step Code 5) must achieve ≤ 1.0 ACH₅₀
- A certified Passive House requires ≤ 0.6 ACH₅₀

- Our result: 0.27 ACH₅₀

That means this home is over 3× tighter than Step 5, and even better than Passive House standard. This level of airtightness means lower energy bills, more comfort, and a build that’s ready for the future.

It’s been a lot of work behind the scenes, but moments like this make it worth it. We’re excited to share more of what we’ve been working on soon!
