Welcome to "What Not to Do" Wednesdays where we share work we've seen other contractors do, who claim to know what they're doing (and why this isn't what they should be doing) 🛠

Today's example comes from contractors a past client of ours hired to do some demo work

They were tasked with removing the floor and, instead of coming with the right tools to do the job, they just starting ripping it out without any thought 🤦

Not only did they leave this mess, they actually damaged the bottom of the fridge, since they couldn't be bothered to move it out of the way to remove the floor underneath 🤦🤦

This also made their job 4x longer than it should have taken, which ended up costing the customer more when they said they were finished

This is the way they left things when we came in to complete the removal, with the proper tools and skills required to do the job

So, just because someone says they can do it cheaper, doesn't always mean it will be cheaper in the end - especially after damaging a fridge and not properly completing the job

That's why our slogan here at Human Dwelling is "We do it right, the first time" so our customers don't have to put up with nonsense like this! 🙌🏼
