TXON GRP, in collaboration with Amrize Precast, Lightweight Concrete Solutions, and MEDA Engineering, has entered into an agreement to design and deliver lightweight precast housing solutions.

This initiative focuses on the design, production, and assembly of high-performance single-family and mid-rise structures using advanced lightweight concrete systems.

The structures are engineered for durability across a range of mild to severe climates and are designed to perform under environmental and man-made stress conditions, including wildfire, flood, seismic, and extreme weather events.

These systems provide a viable alternative to conventional construction methods—prioritizing structural integrity, transportability, and efficient on-site assembly with minimal technical requirements.

This 20 000 ft2 (1860 m2) by 10.00" (25.4 cm) loading dock apron is reinforced with TXON GRP(tm) 10 mm rebar. The concrete techs liked that it was light-weight, easy to lift and tie and especially with our rebar coils were able to lay one continuous piece with no straightening required.

Labour was reduced significantly when compared to other rebar reinforcement options.
