Duties
Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver construction materials to job sites and customer locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety protocols
Load, unload, and organize building supplies using proper lifting techniques and equipment such as forklifts when necessary
Verify delivery orders for accuracy and completeness before dispatching or upon receipt at the destination
Maintain clear communication with dispatch and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and address any issues promptly
Assist in warehouse tasks including inventory management, stock replenishment, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace
Conduct routine safety inspections of vehicles and warehouse equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions, offering product guidance, and ensuring a positive experience during every interaction
Requirements
Proven experience in warehouse operations or commercial driving preferred; familiarity with construction materials is a plus
Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting safely and efficiently throughout the workday
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; forklift certification is highly desirable
Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and customers
Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse machinery is preferred; certification will be provided if needed
Excellent moving skills for loading/unloading materials safely and efficiently
Ability to follow detailed instructions, prioritize tasks, and work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
