Busy day in the estimating bullpen!

It was a busy day in the estimating bullpen today as the entire team came together to support the closing of a multi-million dollar infrastructure tender. A great example of collaboration, commitment, and teamwork under pressure.
Thank you to everyone for the long hours and collective effort that went into getting this submission across the finish line. Fingers crossed we are successful in securing another hospital project for our growing portfolio.

Another successful concession renovation completed for our client Landmark Cinemas 🎬
This week, the Lester Construction Group team was on the road to St. Catharines delivering:
• New frictionless concession frontline design
• New ABO (Automated Box Office) feature wall
• Updated lobby finishes
Best of all? The entire renovation was completed in just 5 days — all while the theatre remained fully operational.

Safety, planning, and precision — all while operations continue.
Last week, Lester Construction Group began work at St. Vincent de Paul Society after repeated delivery truck impacts caused significant structural damage to an existing masonry block wall.
Following a full review of the damage, it was determined that the safest and most effective solution was to demolish and completely rebuild the wall properly.
Current scope of work includes:
• Temporary shoring for the existing roof structure
• Demolition of the damaged masonry block wall
• Installation of temporary scaffolding for masonry work
• Construction of a new masonry block wall
• New overhead doors complete with new dock seals and bumpers
One of the biggest challenges of this project is completing the work while the store remains fully operational and continues receiving daily donations. With constant customer activity and heavy traffic flow, safety on-site remains our top priority.

WRH Cath Lab & Microbiology – Progress Update
WRH Cath Lab has entered its final stages of construction! Key mechanical infrastructure, life safety systems, finishing activities and cleaning are now nearing completion with final building inspections in progress. Occupancy is right around the corner with these critical steps advancing smoothly. The facility is on track and getting ready for hospital move-in! Stay tuned as we cross the finish line but also for exterior improvements and enhancements!
Great teamwork across the board as this complex acute healthcare project continues to come together.

WRH Catheterization Lab – Nearing Completion

We’re in the final stages at Windsor Regional Hospital as the Catheterization Lab approaches completion. Final inspections, equipment commissioning, and finishing touches are underway as this critical healthcare space gets ready to come online.

You’ll notice protective coverings throughout the space — paper, tape, and cardboard are in place to safeguard the newly installed finishes during these final stages and commissioning process.

Proud to be part of delivering another important upgrade for patient care in our community.
