Did you know? 💙
Back in 1996, Reko was part of a group of local manufacturers that helped build the first Hart Walkers in North America, giving children with cerebral palsy the opportunity to experience hands-free mobility and greater independence.
The walkers were donated to Easter Seals, helping make a meaningful impact for local families and children in our community. Today, nearly 30 years later, Hart Walkers are still being used today.
Recently, one of our team members, Dave, shared a story from almost 25 years ago. While visiting Disney with his family wearing a Reko jacket, someone stopped him just to say thank you for helping make one of those walkers.
It’s a powerful reminder that the impact of what we do can reach far beyond the shop floor.
Thank you for sharing your story, Dave.
