When Michelle started taking sewing lessons, her mom gifted her this beautiful pair of Italian made scissors. The issue, they didn’t cut very well and the “hollows” on both blades looked like someone had touched them with a heavy bench grinder wheel.
I cleaned up the heavy grind marks and redid the flats at 3000 grit. That was followed by leather buffing to create a near mirror finish.
The scissors now cut incredibly well now.

How often should my mower blade be sharpened?
It depends! Do you have a lot of rocks in your yard? Sticks? Or just grass? If it’s clean grass, you should be good for a couple years. If you’re mowing gravel, every season. 😂

Mobile service? This was my first one. Obviously there was an upcharge but the gentleman that had his blade sharpened has back issues and could not deliver the mover.

Dropping your mower off with the blade is okay with me! I used to charge a fee for the removal but now, I just do it for your convenience. 🍃

From Dull to Sharp in St.Norbert. 🔪
The owner of these knives complained that they did not cut well. I ended up removing the secondary bevels, simultaneously making convex blade shape. After that, a micro-bevel, sharpened to 5000 dirt was applied. Stropped and tested on some basswood.
