Join YCLM for a tour of the currently under construction overpass and highway reconfiguration at Winnipeg’s Perimeter Highway PTH 100 and St. Mary’s Road (PR 200). The tour will be hosted by the project contractor AECON and will include a guided walkthrough of the overpass bridge as well as focused discussion with site personnel on both the overpass structure and the civil work associated with the overpass and highway reconfiguration.

Date: Thursday, July 25
Time: 4:00 p.m. sharp - Bus departs from St. Vital Mall
Location: We will meet at St. Vital mall and board a bus to the project site
PPE Required: Hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, hi vis vest, steel toe boots
Cost: $25, includes bus to/from site and appetizers at Earls after the tour

WE'RE BACK!!

A warm welcome to our 7 new and returning board members at our first sessions of 2024!

As the year 2023 closes out, we at YCLM want to once again thank all our sponsors, and especially our supporters for their patronage and attendance this year, we truly appreciate you all.

2023 was a year in which we made new friends, new connections, reconnected with old, sharing new experiences & new milestones celebrating our 10 year anniversary.

YCLM is looking for new board members as we head into 2024.
Here's what you need to know:

- Board position terms run for two years.
- Board members must be under the age of 40 before starting their first term.
- YCLM holds ten general board meetings a year (once a month except July and August). Committee meetings happen on an ad hoc basis. Board members are also expected to attend YCLM events when possible.
- We’re asking potential Board members to provide us with a brief resume (featuring industry related work/education/volunteer experience) and brief (one paragraph or so) answers to the following questions:
- Why are you interested in joining the YCLM Board?
- What do you hope to accomplish as a YCLM Board member?
- Can you provide an example of how you’ve demonstrated leadership in the past?
- YCLM Board members all belong to one of several committees – Development (generally this is for senior board members), Education (in charge of planning lunch and learns and boardroom series), Excursion (in charge of planning site tours), Social (in charge of planning events), Outreach (in charge of membership and sponsorship), and Marketing (in charge of promoting YCLM, including Social Media). Which of these committees (other than Development) most interests you?

Interested candidates should email their resume and answers to [email protected] no later than Tuesday, October 24 at 4:00 p.m. We will inform the successful candidates before the new year.
