Spending great time with my mentor Mike and people who helped me keep my values high over the years. When we worked together Okotokes, Alberta, Mike always said to me "Prem, people need to start to understand that when they want things done right the first time, they will not get that from the lowest bitter, it is sad to look at it, and at times frustrating as hell but they get what they paid for at the end. We can only educate them, so never forget who you are and don't go after the quick dollar. After you tell them as what they need to do and why and if they choose to go with the lowest bitter to save a buck, years later they will realize their mistake and they will call you and me, so don't give in." Up to this day those words ring out in my soul. It is always great to see them again and chat about the old days.

Emergency repair: Reminder to check your sump pump (if it is working) and hoses, as this is the time of the year where snow is starting to melt but outside hoses are not though out yet and the water that shoots back around the house will go right back under the house/foundation, causing your pump to work none stop and it might fail/burn out. This might also cause for the water that gathers against foundation walls to put pressure against the foundation walls and seep into the walls causing potential failure (cracks) when temperature drops during the night if the walls are not sealed up from outside.
