📣Community Grants: Next Application Deadline is September 15th

The next deadline to apply for community grants is fast approaching! Any group or organization applying for an operational grant from the Town of Yarmouth must submit their application by September 15th, 2026. To be considered, all applications must be submitted in accordance with the Town's Grant Policy Statement.

‼️IMPORTANT: Incomplete applications will not be considered.

Traffic Notice: Lane Closure/Traffic Disruptions on Main Street August 13 - 14 Updated

UPDATED (August 12th): To prepare for paving, patch work will take place in the Milton area. The work will impact traffic between Prospect Street and Hibernia Street on Thursday, August 13th, and Friday, August 14th.

Please note:

➡ Work will run from 7 am to 7 pm. All work is weather-permitting.

➡ On Thursday, the southbound traffic in this area will be detoured through Brunswick Street and northbound traffic will be allowed to pass through Main Street.

➡ On Friday, the northbound traffic in this area will be detoured through Brunswick Street and southbound traffic will be allowed to pass through Main Street.

➡ Traffic control will be in place. Please expect delays traveling through the area.

Please follow all traffic signs and laws. Slow down in the affected area and take extra precautions.

"Where does it go"❓ series.
COFFEE PODS

There are all types of coffee pods; some are labeled compostable, some recyclable. Do not place these in your green cart! Unless you have a bag provided specifically by Nespresso, they go in the garbage (clear bag).

♻However, IF you remove the coffee grounds, etc from the plastic or metal pods, you can then recycle them in your blue bag with containers.
