Our team retreat was more than just a getaway it was an opportunity to share ideas about , life, and the limitless potential of STEM education in Tanzania.

Guided by our visionary CEO, Mr. Wilson,
We dove into brainstorming sessions, celebrated our milestones, and introduced our 2025 tagline: "Time is Now: S.E.R.G (Speed, Excellence, Revenue, Growth)." 🚀

MITzKITS 2024 in Review!

This year, MITzKITS reached new heights, extending our reach in STEM education and innovation across Tanzania and beyond! We seized transformative opportunities that fueled our growth and expanded our reach, propelling us forward as a driving force in the EdTech space.

We kicked off the year to "Sparkle and Shine," and shine we did! We began 2024 with exciting school partnerships and ended it by unveiling our bold rebrand and redesigned STEM kits. The year was nothing short of amazing! Along the way, we:

✅ Won Best EdTech Innovation at Mwanza Innovation Week, thanks to EnabelinTanzania.

✅ Selected among top Innovators to represent Tanzania globally through the Vodacom TZ MassChallenge Accelerator and MastercardFdnEdTech Fellows Program.

✅ Launched transformative programs such as the Space Exploration and Renewable Energy Bootcamp with support from Mwanza e.V.

✅ Presented our work to leaders like President Samia Suluhu Hassan and PM Kassim Majaliwa, who applauded our efforts.

Each milestone is a testament to the power of innovation, collaboration, and an unwavering commitment to redefining STEM education for young minds.

MITzKITS at Startup Week 2024!

From 16th to 20th December 2024, MITzKITS proudly participated in , hosted by the Tanzania Start-up Association (TSA), themed "Beyond Boundaries."

The event brought together innovators, entrepreneurs, and changemakers to explore cutting-edge solutions to today’s challenges.

At our booth, we were thrilled to showcase our hands-on learning science kits, giving visitors a first-hand experience of the transformative power of STEM education.

These kits inspire creativity, critical thinking, and innovation, empowering the next generation of scientists, engineers, and problem-solvers across Tanzania and beyond.

Day four of the December Renewable Energy and Space Exploration bootcamp is filled with creativity and hands-on activities!

Students are building Bluetooth-controlled cars, coding them, and testing them in an exciting racing competition.

The excitement is continuing with a focus on creativity and collaboration.

Day 03 of the MITzKITS December Renewable Energy and Space Exploration Bootcamp is focusing on physical computing and smart systems.

Students are exploring hands-on activities involving sensors, actuators, and communication, including:

Programming microcontrollers to turn LEDs ON and OFF,

Blinking LEDs and controlling them using touch sensors,

Controlling DC motors via smartphones,

Creating smartphone-controlled home lighting systems.

The session emphasizes practical skills in automation and control systems, bridging renewable energy concepts with real-world smart technology applications.

Day 2 of MITzKITS' December Renewable Energy and Space Exploration bootcamp is diving into Energy, Electronics, and Battery Technology. Students are engaging in exciting hands-on activities such as generating electricity with a DC geared motor, building circuits using MITzKITS (Msingi Kits Electricity I), creating touch sensors, and assembling power banks and doorbells!
