Each summer, the Omega Nebula (M17) becomes a must-see target for astrophotographers, shining brightly in the constellation Sagittarius.

In this image captured with Vaonis' new Vespera Pro 2, glowing clouds of hydrogen gas, dark dust lanes, and brilliant young stars reveal the powerful forces shaping one of the Milky Way's most active star-forming regions.

📷 Captured by Vaonis with Vespera Pro 2 under Bortle 4 skies. Total exposure : 4 hours. Dual Band filter. Mosaic and Multi-Night Mode.

Floating nearly 5,000 light-years away in the constellation Gemini, the Jellyfish Nebula is the glowing remnant of an ancient supernova, the powerful explosion marking the death of a massive star. Thousands of years later, its delicate filaments of gas are still expanding through space.

📷 Captured by Vaonis with Vespera 3 under Bortle 4 skies. Total exposure: over 5 hours 30 minutes.

Today, travel through the clouds of Rho Ophiuchi with Vespera 3.

🟦 In the northern part of the image, the multiple star system Rho Ophiuchi illuminates the blue reflection nebula IC 4604, where starlight is scattered by fine interstellar dust.

🟨 The southern part of the scene is dominated by Antares, the red supergiant at the heart of Scorpius. Its intense light illuminates the surrounding dust, giving this area its warm golden-orange glow.

✨Among this nebular firework display, two globular clusters, the bright and prominent Messier 4 (bottom right) and the fainter NGC 6144 (to its left), quietly add depth and richness to the scene.

This image was created from two mosaics captured with Vespera 3, each with 8 to 9 hours of integration, using Mosaic Mode and Multi-Night Mode to easily build a large high-resolution result over several nights.
