Hydrofoils.ch Hydrofoils.ch is formed by four young engineers with the aim to gain experience in the design, construction and operation of experimental hydrofoil boats.

The team's members are Riccardo Pigazzini, Marco Mani, Sandro Mani and Mario Danzi.

We are happy to announce that Mario Danzi has joined the ranks of hydrofoils.ch. Mario's key area of competence is the processing of advanced composite materials, more specifically, Liquid Resin Infusion (LRI) and prepreg processes.

Significant progress today: the keel is now installed in the StarTrucc22. It should be possible to launch it before the cold season starts... In the picture the keel is pulled up a lot, in sailing condition the distance between hull and bulb is exactly two meters.

Our new load cell from Sensortronics. Rated at 100lbs with an ultimate load of 300lbs. The fact that it is rated ip67 is very convenient for us indeed, the Toledo load cell did not appreciate the dip in the lake.
