*NEWS* SwissDrones successfully completed a series of test flights over . Our SDO 50 V2 unmanned helicopter system conducted a series of long-range flights over water for rigorous patrol, search and rescue, and surveillance mission simulations. Additional flights were conducted to test and validate communication and sensor payloads. These operations would not have been possible without the full support from , Communications Authority, Air Traffic Services, Enterprise, Malta, and the San Lawrenz local council.

**NEWS** The SDO 50 V2 helicopter drone was deployed in a joint operation with the Swiss Federal Office for Civil Protection (FOCP) to detect and measure radioactive particles. Watch the video to see SwissDrones in action and learn how it can be combined with traditional manned aircraft and ground vehicles to collect additional radiological information around critical sites and non-accessible areas.

** NEWS ** Together with our valued partner Air Zermatt AG, experts in Swiss mountain rescues, we have successfully tested the SDO 50 V2 at 11,500 ft AMSL (density altitude) at -10 degree Celsius and windy conditions. During the tests, the aircraft has demonstrated nearly uncompromised performance confirming its feasibility for flight missions in challenging environments.

CLS, together with partner SwissDrones Operating AG is proud to announce the successful deployment at sea of the amazing SDO 50 V2 VTOL RPAS aboard BOURBON Offshores ‘Argonaute’.

This new generation vertical take-off and landing drone can easily operate from a vessel due to its low logistical footprint.

We are excited to deploy this new capability in support of vital operations at sea such as search & rescue, fisheries control, pollution, and ship emissions monitoring.

This successful deployment was made possible thanks to the partnership with the French Navy Marine Nationale and Bourbon along with the valued support of Direction Generale de l'Aviation Civile – a great team effort!

Because maritime safety on the world’s seas is a global concern.

RTE Challenge - Power line inspection in France

**NEWS** During the last few months, significant technical upgrades have been made to our UAV product and services for power line inspection jobs, enabling better, safer, and less polluting unmanned aerial intelligence for oil & gas, energy, and infrastructure companies. The field tests have happened in Flaesch, Switzerland (October 2020).

** COLLABORATIVE FIELD TESTS ** - We have recently verified and operated HySpex's hyperspectral payload (in partnership with Pergam-Suisse) on the SDO-50V2 allowing best-in-class BVLOS inspections with longer flight autonomy, increased safety, minimized pollution, and fewer costs. Such missions aim for identifying cracks and corrosion in infrastructure as well as detecting chemical, oil, or gas spills.

** Advantages in Operations ** - One of the key reasons to decide for the SDO 50 V2 for inspection services, aerial surveillance, and search & rescue missions is its flexibility, velocity, and versatility in operational deployment. You can operate from a fixed installation or ship, transport the UAV by van (2 people), or achieve the remote use in combination with helicopter transport, e.g. in the mountains.
