A new airborne intelligence capability takes flight.

Together with PLATH and CENTUM , we have successfully integrated advanced cellular detection and geolocation technology into the X8 PRO Long Endurance Multicopter.

The solution enables operators to detect and geolocate mobile phones from a compact, rapidly deployable airborne platform—supporting Signal Intelligence, Search and Rescue, security and defense missions.

Xer Technologies is heading to REPMUS 2026.

From 31 August to 25 September, we will demonstrate the X8 PRO’s advanced naval mine detection and electronic warfare capabilities in the North Atlantic—building on successful participation in REPMUS 2024 and 2025.

Operating under the umbrella of the Swedish Navy and Team Switzerland, we look forward to once again validating the X8 PRO in demanding, real-world maritime conditions.

We’re proud to announce the successful integration of UMag Solutions’ V2Mag® and FastMag® magnetic detection payloads with our X8 PRO long-endurance multicopter.

The integration significantly expands the X8 PRO’s capabilities for advanced airborne sensing—including UXO, land and naval mine detection, and support for anti-submarine warfare missions—with flight times exceeding 2.5 hours.

Gas network operators and major oil and gas companies can now survey entire infrastructure corridors for methane leaks at an altitude of 100 meters, with full EU Methane Regulation Type 2 LDAR compliance.

Xer Technologies has now validated 3.5 hours of flight endurance with a 2 kg payload on the new X8 PRO platform. This milestone demonstrates what this hybrid-electric UAS can deliver, when long-range coverage, operational efficiency, and payload flexibility are mission-critical.

“The baseline system capability of carrying a 7 kg payload with 2.5 hours of flight endurance has once again been thoroughly reconfirmed,” said Erik Herlyn, CEO of Xer Tech Holding. “In addition, with a 2 kg multiple payload configuration such as LiDAR, high-resolution EO/IR sensors, or similar mission equipment, the X8 PRO can effortlessly achieve 3.5 hours of flight time, even under demanding operating conditions.”

The X8 PRO is designed for demanding commercial and defence applications, combining long endurance with payload capacity, weather resilience, and operational flexibility.
