The LEMO Story – Chapter 7

The 2000s: The 2000s, the start of a new millennium

As the world adapted to rapid digital transformation, global uncertainty, and evolving industries, technology became more connected than ever. The rise of the internet, smartphones, and new digital platforms reshaped everyday life and industrial ecosystems worldwide.
For LEMO, the 2000s started with a new generation of leadership as Alexandre Pesci became the Group’s third CEO, reinforcing the company’s long-term family-owned vision. International expansion continued with new subsidiaries in Denmark, Norway, Sweden, China, and the Netherlands, further strengthening LEMO’s global footprint.
Innovation and industrial investment accelerated. In response to growing demand for robust solutions, LEMO launched the M Series in 2006, introducing a new coupling system developed for Formula One, defence, aerospace, and other high-reliability environments.
With expanded manufacturing capabilities and new facilities worldwide, LEMO continued to strengthen its position as a global leader in high-performance interconnect solutions.

Semiconductor manufacturing is one of the most complex industrial processes in the world.

Behind every chip are highly advanced equipment systems composed of multiple, tightly interconnected subsystems operating under extreme precision and tightly controlled environments. At this level of complexity, reliability is not just important — it is fundamental.
Every connection plays a critical role. A single interruption can impact entire production flows and global supply chains.
That is why leading semiconductor equipment manufacturers rely on LEMO.
Our push-pull connectivity solutions are engineered for high-density, high-performance environments where precision, uptime, and system integrity are essential.
Because in semiconductor manufacturing, everything depends on what connects it.
