Hotwork International Group Welcomes a New Expert in Furnace Optimization

We are pleased to welcome Mr. Jörg Thiele to Hotwork International Group as our new Senior Technical Sales & Optimization Manager.

With his extensive technical expertise and industry experience, particularly within the glass industry, Mr. Thiele brings strong specialization in glass furnace optimization.

In his new role, he will support our customers in identifying optimization opportunities, improving furnace efficiency and performance, and developing practical solutions that is tailored to the specific operational requirements of glass production facilities.

We are very happy to have Mr. Jörg Thiele on board and look forward to working together on many successful projects.

Hotwork International South America and HEAT UP LATIN AMERICA continue to strengthen their presence across the region with new expansions into Santiago, Montevideo, and Bogotá.

This marks another important milestone for the International Group and reinforces our long-term commitment to supporting customers throughout Latin America with faster response times, stronger local presence, and enhanced operational capabilities.

As part of this expansion, new operational hubs have been established in Santiago, Montevideo, and Bogotá, further strengthening our ability to support customers across the region with local expertise and improved response capabilities.

In parallel with the expansion, extensive training programs and strategic business planning sessions have been carried out under the direct supervision of Mr. Benjamin Köster CEO of the International Group.

These initiatives are focused on further strengthening support for the glass, steel, cement, and other heavy industries with tailored solutions designed to improve operational efficiency, reduce downtime, and support long-term plant performance.

The expansion comes shortly after HEAT UP LATIN AMERICA celebrated its 10-year anniversary, highlighting a decade of continuous growth and support for the industry across the region.

We are also looking forward to connecting with industry partners and customers at hashtag in Mexico!

From its base in Cebu, the team has supported clients across the APAC region in industries including glass, steel, copper, and many more. Over the years, Hotwork Philippines has built a strong reputation for delivering reliable, efficient, and high quality solutions.

A special thank you goes to Miss Marcia Heideliza Lopez, Mr. Bernard Carpio, and the entire team for their dedication, professionalism, and hard work throughout the years. Your commitment has played a major role in this incredible milestone.

As part of this exciting chapter, Hotwork International Philippines has also completed a major renovation and expansion of its office and warehouse facilities. The upgraded site now offers 30% more workspace capacity and includes new employee focused areas such as a rooftop bar, relax zone, and BBQ area, reflecting the company’s continued investment in both its people and its future.

This expansion further strengthens support capabilities throughout The Philippines and Southeast Asia.

We’re proud to celebrate our sponsored team, the Pirates Basketball, Oberthurgau from Switzerland, on an incredible achievement.

Last weekend, the U22 women’s team reached the “Final Four” for the first time in the club’s nine-year history, a huge moment and a testament to the progress they’ve made as a team.
