Hugo Junkers dreamed of a "people's airplane"โa high-performing aircraft that was accessible to all ๐ช. Designer Hermann Pohlmann delivered with the A50, an all-metal monoplane crafted for strength, style, and simplicity. Using Duralumin corrugated sheets as load-bearing elements, Pohlmann reduced weight, achieving a streamlined design with minimal internal supports.
