Display Craft Manufacturing Co. becomes Obrist Manufacturing Inc.

A new name. A new chapter. And a strong foundation to build on. Following the acquisition of Display Craft Manufacturing Co. earlier this year, our U.S. production site in Baltimore, Maryland, is now operating under the name Obrist Manufacturing Inc.

While the name has changed, what makes the site strong remains: more than 75 years of manufacturing experience, craftsmanship, and an established local team. Now under the Obrist name, these strengths come together with our international expertise and global network.

This important milestone called for a celebration with our team in Baltimore, and we’re excited about what lies ahead. 🎉

Growing expertise within our procurement team 🎓

Congratulations to Dennis Ape and Thorsten Kopp on successfully completing their professional development in procurement and purchasing!

Dennis completed the Bachelor Professional in Procurement (IHK Frankfurt am Main), while Thorsten successfully completed the Procurement Specialist course with procure.ch - Fachverband für Einkauf und Supply Management certificate.

U.S. production is underway

Earlier this year, Obrist took an important step in strengthening its presence in North America by expanding its manufacturing capabilities in the U.S.

Today, production at Obrist’s U.S. site in Baltimore, Maryland, is successfully underway, combining local manufacturing expertise with Swiss craftsmanship, engineering, and international experience. Together with the local team and colleagues from Switzerland, Corrado Tona is driving this next chapter forward.

A strong local team, shared expertise, and one goal: creating exceptional interiors together. And this is just the beginning of what’s ahead. ✨
