Bhindi Jewelers: A new luxury destination ✨

For the new Bhindi Jewelers multibrand store in Glendale, California, Obrist interior brought Studio Tonic’s design vision to life across 865 m² / 9,310 sq ft.

From project management and engineering to production, logistics and installation, every step was carefully coordinated and executed with precision and craftsmanship.

Sophisticated materials, bespoke elements and carefully crafted details come together to create a distinctive luxury retail experience.

A sincere thank you to the entire Bhindi family and team for their trust and the great collaboration throughout this project.

Swiss precision, brought to life in the Caribbean🌴

For Kirk Freeport’s new boutique in George Town, Cayman Islands, Obrist interior delivered the complete interior fit-out – from project planning and engineering to production, logistics and final installation.

Warm travertine, bronze and walnut details, custom-made furniture and refined display areas come together to create an elegant setting for luxury timepieces.

Bringing a high-end retail project to life in the Caribbean requires precision and coordination at every stage. From Switzerland to Grand Cayman, our team ensured a seamless realization on site, with the quality and craftsmanship that define Obrist interior.

From a blank page to a finished store. ✨

How does a vision become a space? And what does it take to bring a high-end retail store to life?

We had the pleasure of welcoming the Lions Club Luzern-Pilatus to Obrist interior in Inwil and taking our guests behind the scenes of our work.

During the visit, Stefan Slamanig, Owner & CEO of Obrist interior, and Sylvia Grisch, Art Director at Studiotonic, shared insights into the entire journey of a project, from the first ideas and design concepts to engineering, craftsmanship, production and the finished store.

A great opportunity to show how design and craftsmanship come together and how much expertise, precision and teamwork goes into every project.

Investing in the next generation ✨

Since August, Nevio Auderset and Christian Schwegler have been part of the Obrist interior team, starting their carpentry apprenticeships in interior construction. 🇨🇭

Over the next few years, they’ll learn the craft from the ground up, combining hands-on experience at Obrist with theoretical knowledge at vocational school and developing their skills step by step.

And there’s more great news from across the Atlantic: Brian Scott has just started his four-year Apprentice Program at Obrist Manufacturing in Baltimore. We’re excited to see him develop his craft and grow as part of our U.S. team. 🇺🇸

A prize that keeps on giving

As winners of the Prix SVC Central Switzerland, our leadership team had the opportunity to spend two inspiring days at the UBS Education and Dialogue Center at Wolfsberg.

Time to exchange ideas, gain new perspectives, and focus on key leadership topics together.

Display Craft Manufacturing Co. becomes Obrist Manufacturing Inc.

A new name. A new chapter. And a strong foundation to build on. Following the acquisition of Display Craft Manufacturing Co. earlier this year, our U.S. production site in Baltimore, Maryland, is now operating under the name Obrist Manufacturing Inc.

While the name has changed, what makes the site strong remains: more than 75 years of manufacturing experience, craftsmanship, and an established local team. Now under the Obrist name, these strengths come together with our international expertise and global network.

This important milestone called for a celebration with our team in Baltimore, and we’re excited about what lies ahead. 🎉
